Daniel McPherson

Dan’s passion is helping families and individuals reach their personal goals and manage their financial wealth. While growing up in a small farming and mining community in Southern Utah, Dan learned the value of hard work. At a young age, Dan became dismayed as he learned that as the people in his community worked so diligently to provide for their families, they were uncertain about how to provide if tragedy ever struck and even more unsure about how to plan for retirement. This inspired Dan to give people somewhere they can turn to for solid financial advice and a personal relationship.

Of utmost importance to Dan is that people know that they are valued and respected. This is why Dan enjoys getting to know people and their goals while creating their Personal Wealth Management Plan. He understands that a one size fits all approach doesn’t work and knows people are looking for solid financial strategies in this uncertain economy. Dan believes that a personal touch is what sets Strategic Wealth Concepts apart from other financial planning organizations. In building Strategic Wealth Concepts, Dan has made a point that people know they are family friends. Dan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Southern Utah University. He is a CFP^® (Certified Financial Planner™) has a Master’s Degree in Financial Planning is a ChFC^® (Chartered Financial Consultant®), Certified Estate Advisor, Certified Tax Specialist, Certified Annuity Specialist, Accredited Wealth Management Advisor, and regularly attends educational workshops to stay current with tax laws and estate planning strategies.

At the age of 17, Dan started his first business. He has owned and operated a business ever since. He is active in several local charities, business development groups, and his church organization. Dan enjoys everything the Snake River Valley has to offer and spends as much time as possible in the outdoors. He has climbed to the summit of Mt McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America, and then skied down. Dan also enjoys riding dirt bikes, shooting in F-Class Competitions and 3 Gun Matches.
