As a Financial Planner and Lead Analyst at Strategic Wealth Concepts, Colby specializes in holistic financial planning for individuals and families. Having grown up in Idaho, Colby's family history is one full of people who have loved and supported this community in various roles, from farmers to schoolteachers to INL engineers. As such, Colby is uniquely positioned to give back to this community through comprehensive financial advice and services.
Colby is an Investment Advisor Representative, having passed his Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law examination. He also holds his Idaho Life, Disability, and Health Insurance Licenses. Additionally, Colby is a Psychology of Financial Planning Specialist and a candidate for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Finance with a double minor in Financial Planning and Business Analytics from Brigham Young University-Idaho.
Colby hails from Rigby and is a fan of all things Idaho (except icy roads!). He has also briefly lived on the bustling East Coast and even abroad in Central America. These varied experiences have fueled his desire to serve others from all walks of life, especially in achieving financial security. In his free time, he loves all things sports, volunteering in his church and community, and spending time with his growing family.
